23 year old singer-songwriter Meg Chandler was raised in the dreamy countryside of Shropshire. She releases her new single, Mediocre. It talks about what it’s like to be in your early twenties and struggle with impatience. You’re constantly comparing yourself to others. However, I don’t think you should do that. In the end, everyone follows their own path.
Mediocre has an appealing pop production, with funky twists. There are, for example, dancing guitar riffs that bring the house down. Crystalline vocals act as leader, guiding the ensemble.
