Irish singer-songwriter Carrie Baxter releases her new single, Woman. It utilizes soulful keys that address Erykah Badu’s style. Some warm R&B harmonies pep up the atmosphere. I love the mellow chorus, which has some small details that add consistency to it.
While writing Woman, Carrie reflected on the women in her life. Basically, the song can be seen as an ode. It’s astonishing how many empowering lines there are in it.
