New-York based artist KAIA releases her new single, Unfamiliar. While it starts off rather calm, it develops into something very melodious. A lot of little details were put towards the sound design, which really accentuates the experience. The singing remains true to form.
Unfamiliar expresses the painful feeling of distance and longing following the end of a relationship. You can’t help but observe that everything around you has changed. Sometimes, your tears even become your best friends.
