Daddy is the alt-rock brainchild of vocalist/guitarist Brooke Patterson and bassist Jessica Taylor, two high school acquaintances who became best friends (plus Craigslist drummer Jack McCain). Wish You Were Mine has everything. Thunderous guitar work and drumming influence the sound significantly. Theatrical vocals don’t let the lyrics down, giving them the starring role.
