British singer-songwriter Jennifer Coy develops an original sound by blending Jazz, Pop, and NeoSoul. She shares her single, Goodbyes. It has slick drum patterns, light sax accents and a nice key structure. There’s also some brilliant guitar playing. Vocally, Coy keeps things wavy.
Goodbyes is about leaving short-lived relationships without feeling sad, but relieved that they have come to an end. You don’t feel like you’re wasting time anymore. A new path is gradually unfolding for you.
