Costa Rican-American singer-songwriter Julia Calvin lives in Los Angeles, California. She shares her new single, Las Cosas que Aprendí. It’s influenced by Latin music, but also incorporates the philosophies of indie music. We love the lyrics, since they connect cultures. The chorus runs so smoothly.
Julia wrote this song about her father. He taught her everything, and she sees him as a role model. He’s definitely someone to look up to. The lyrics praise, appreciate, and celebrate simply existing.
