LA-based singer/producer Nora Banks is passionate about dark, emotional pop. She shares her new single, BLAIR WALDORF. It opens with quiet production, which features the vocals prominently. However, as time goes on, various additional textures enter to say hi. The sound then shakes things up a bit.
Banks wrote and produced this song in her bedroom after watching Gossip Girl with her high school friend. She realized she wasn’t watching for the plot, but for Blair Waldorf’s character. This person has an attitude that lets you know she’s around. Blair takes over every room as quick as a flash.
