The new single from NY bedroom pop singer/songwriter ROREY is called Sleepwalking. It includes a variety of things, such as hazy vocals and pop-influenced guitar chords. The drums move in hypnotic patterns, they make perspective seem to shift. I like how the chorus sounds, catchy but also interestingly textured.
Sleepwalking talks about feeling disconnected and going through the motions without really understanding what’s happening. The lyrics give voice to RORERY’s inner thoughts. Intriguing, right?
