Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter katie Mac is always on top of her game. She drops People Lie. The single talks about how toxicness and goodness can exist side-by-side in a relationship. However, katie knows that this isn’t good, and she should leave. You can’t get the things you need from a partner who lies most of the time. It may seem that way, but love makes blinds.
We love the poppy production here. Infectious synths and playful beats take the wheel, assuring that things remain danceable. Crystalline vocals light up the horizon, making the ambience more defined. You can expect a lot from the chorus, it’s an epic one.
Mac continues to be a pioneer in the music industry. She doesn’t imitate trends, but creates them herself.
