Reina Mora is an LA-based Puerto Rican singer-songwriter, performer, and activist. She releases her new single, Weeds. It has atmospheric indie production, meaning it’s musically experimental. I love how each segment does something different while still interacting with the previous one. The vocals are so compelling, their level of confidence is uplifting.
Weeds talks about giving everything to a relationship only to feel empty in return, but nonetheless finding strength and hope during the aftermath. The lyrics of the second verse represent the triumph of overcoming challenges and the attainment of peace after facing numerous storms.
Mora seems like such a strong woman. She shares so much of herself here. Weeds offers it all. Check it out below!
