20-year-old independent Dutch singer-songwriter Rose Bente releases her second single, Foggy Mirror. It’s actually very personal. Here, Rose recounts the divorce of her parents 10 years ago and how it affected her and her siblings. The decision to write this song came about because she was unable to fully process the trauma.
Foggy Mirror is organically constructed, with groovy basslines. I fancy the chorus, as it boosts the tempo and grants the piece a soulful feel. The vocals are steady, they don’t become monotonous or anything like that.
Rose keeps it real with her fans. Foggy Mirror has something to say, no question. Check it out below!
