Singer-songwriter Isa Y releases his new single, Lose. It has soulful licks reminiscent of the days of D’Angelo and Erykah Badu, when the love of music was at the center. I appreciate how organically everything is produced here. The vocals don’t feel lost, but help tie everything together.
The lyrics hint at the bittersweet feeling, that sometimes the odds aren’t in our favor, but life goes on regardless. Because of this, we must have faith that the sun will shine after rain. There’s no alternative.
Isa Y keeps things more real than an autobiography. He’s the one who knows the way. Check out Lose below!
