Brighton and London band TENDER reveal their trippy new single, cutting grass. I really like the intro, which takes one minute and shows previews of what’s to come. All textures are placed accurately. The vocals sound ethereal, though they also have a certain expressive edge to them
cutting grass reflects internal conflicts. There are themes in it about taking someone’s kindness and love for granted. TENDER focuses specifically on the dynamic where a partner offers undivided attention, without being reciprocated.
