Singer-songwriter Ryann Barnes releases her new single, Somebody Else. Its lyrics reflect feelings of unrequited love and emotional neglect. Barnes laments over a relationship where she felt she was always available and committed, but her partner’s attention was elsewhere.
Somebody Else is boldly structured. I appreciate the different pop factors that contribute to the sound’s success. The chorus kicks in with catchiness, and the vocals work like a charm in the midst of everything.
