London-born Brazilian-Portuguese musician ALÍSI has a rich musical and cultural background, having grown up between London, Portugal, and Brazil’s east coast. She releases her new single, SHUT THAT SHIT. The song expresses anger and betrayal after realizing the people surrounding you are toxic. The constant danceable beat symbolizes emotional turmoil and desire for peace.
ALÍSI sings with confidence, almost as if she’s trying to empower you. Her favorite line is is “há males que vêm pro bem” which roughly translates from Portuguese to “some evils bring out the good.”
