The Kantors, comprised of founding members Kristin (lead vocals) and Dan Kantor (percussion, guitar) are a Chicago-based indie folk-rock band. They release their new single, Wild Onions. It reflects on memories of the past, including old joys and laughter, but also acknowledges the transient nature of good things. The mention of another loss and paying the cost points to the emotional toll that comes with change.
Organic instruments are present during Wild Onions. I love listening to the guitar, bass, and piano here. And that’s not even everything. The vocals achieve their goal with success.
