British singer-songwriter EMiDORA releases her new single, i think i’ve drowned. The lyrics are emotive. EMiDORA feels like she’s trapped in her own mind, struggling to distinguish reality from her own chaotic thoughts. The line “let me out” accents the rising star’s desire to escape from the stress she’s going through.
The production bounces between sparkly pop and heavier EDM influences. I appreciate how crisp the vocals are, giving the lyrics more prominence. The chorus has a steady tempo.
