Cork-born, Belfast-based songwriter Nathan O’Regan delivers a unique rendition of Ciaran Lavery’s Follow You Down, originally a deep cut from the 2013 album Not Nearly Dark. We’re rad about it, not just positive. Look, this song has such lovely melodic lines that you want to indulge in every bit of it. The soulfulness lets you relive old times. Nathan chose a more pushing drum groove for the chorus, so there’s some contrast from the verses. And, yes, the vocals are absolutely fine.
Although Nathan considers covers of beloved songs like Follow You Down a farewell to this chapter of his career, we see them as a fresh start. Why? It’s because they’re something to build upon. Nathan has what no one else has. Check out Follow You Down below!
