Avery Lynch is a Los Angeles-based singer & songwriter. She releases somebody new as the focus track of her new EP As Written, Vol. 2. The song ponders the complexities of loving someone deeply to the point where their happiness matters more than your own desires. Lynch wishes the best for the person she cares about even if it means being with someone else.
Quiet piano chords make up the sound here. I admire the heartfelt condition of the vocals, which makes the lyrics feel even more substantial. The chorus may even cause you to shed a tear.
