Indie artist BOVIY grew up on a tour bus, so she has pretty much been rocking stages since she was a child. Her latest release, Back 2 U, is out now. The song embodies the heart of a tumultuous relationship where one person feels suffocated by the other’s clinginess and possessiveness. It’s most practical in this situation to let go in order to grow closer together long-term.
Back 2 U has catchy synths that give the sound color. The chorus breathes independence, which means you’ll have to show off your dancing skills. The vocal adapt to each situation, which makes them extremely versatile.
