Rising Aukland-bred/Boston-based artist Josef Scott releases his new single, Picture Me. It has mellow melodies that provide light in these already dark days of September. I like how wavy the vocals sound, they make you feel ready for nearly everything.
Picture Me points out the desire to be seen and understood, visualized metaphorically through the imagery of standing inside someone’s frame. There’s hope for genuine connection in the end. The lyrics emphasize thoughtfulness over simplicity.
