Dallas-based singer-songwriter Mezzi Mae releases her new single, wasted. It features deep and moody R&B beats that move like ocean waves. In addition, be ready for melodic change ups that rewrite the script. I love the dreamy vocals, as they add a bonus tier of profundity to how the lyrics are communicated.
Mezzi talks about a relationship where one person is only interested in the other when they’re under the influence of substances, such as being drunk or high. She seems unhappy with it, as desire fades over time, and the connection weakens as well.
Our opinion of Mezzi as a performing artist is very positive. She really own her style. Check out wasted below!
