Talented British duo TENDER release their new project FLUX along with the same-titled focus track. It has experimental touches amidst a sea of catchiness. I like the way the verses transform into the chorus, which shows how it should be approached. The vocals are soulful, and they give me comfort.
flux maps out the emotions of missing someone very much, not knowing their name or face yet, but feeling a strong connection and commitment to them. The nods to time passing, separation, and the hope of reuniting build a narrative of love and dedication no matter the physical distance and uncertainties.
