JOA’s debut single i don’t want nobody but your body embraces her creative potencies. I’m wowed by how the piano arrangement stays delicate while driving things forward. It simply works. When needed, the vocals do their utmost.
The lyrics circle around the struggle of letting go of a past relationship, even when you know the other person has moved on. JOA articulates a reluctance to detach emotionally, clinging to the physical and emotional connection they shared.
