Dutch soul legend Alain Clark releases his new single, Pressed Out Emotions. It has a light arrangement with guitar and bass on board. But of course there’s more. Think of drums, for example. The vocals have a power that pushes things further, and notably during the chorus they rise above everything else.
Clark really brings the old school vibes of someone like Stevie Wonder into the modern age. I love the way Pressed Out Emotions comes together and melts like a summer raindrop. Listening to it makes you feel as though you’re on a palmy beach.
