Jess Casinelli is an American-Italian singer/songwriter from Stamford, Connecticut (currently residing in LA). She puts her best foot forward on her new single, The Way She Looks At You. It has a determined pop production that succeeds in amplifying your glow. The vocals spin over the guitars like planets.
In this song, Jess points out feelings of vulnerability and anxiety about a potential romantic rival, questioning whether she’d measure up to this person in the eyes of her partner. Or, to put it another way, the lyrics depict the struggle between wanting the best for a loved one while grappling with doubt and inadequacy fears.
