Dreamer is a collaboration between two Dutch songwriters Philippe & Jelske. Their new song, Old Town, is about the longing to trade in what you know for something different. Making this real would bring adventure and change into focus. But of course the place where you grew up will always have a place in your heart and staying there may be the best choice.
Old Town has acoustic instrumentation. I love how the guitar comes in and doesn’t fade away. The vocals have a double layer and flow well together. The chorus has a steady melodic line.
