Canadian artist Dawn Cadence flies like a fairy over gentle waves on her new single, holywater. It begins with abstract electronics that move slowly and wait for instructions from the shimmering vocals. As soon as 1:25 rolls around, the harp enters the mix and lays down a melody that you just have to follow. That’s not all. There are synthesizers as well, which make the music stronger.
The song is, according to my idea, about longing for someone and being unable to ignore them. However, there are many secrets surrounding this person. As a consequence, the question persists about whether they’re really interested in you or not.
