SunFlower Summit wastes no time and digs deep on her new single, Scarie Movyz. She tries to show the contrast of fear. For example, when you watch a horror film for the first time, it may be fun, since you get a rush of adrenaline, but when your whole world collapses around you, there’s nothing enjoyable about it. You literally feel scared. And you keep asking yourself, what should I do?
You expect a song like this to have an extensive production with strings and etc., but that’s not the case. Summit opts for an acoustic approach. Maybe she does this to continue the theme of contrast. The guitar feels sufficient and as the sound builds up the things become quite intense, so be ready to be pleasantly surprised.
