Sadie Brown is a singer, songwriter, screenwriter, and occasional actor from the United Kingdom. She freshly released her new single, Counterfeit. It’s about wanting to run away with the one you love. You feel as if you can accomplish anything together no matter where you are. The lyrics were penned during lockdown, which led to the theme of escaping.
Counterfeit sees Sadie move into more indie-pop-focused territory. The guitar riffs feel nostalgic and contrast phenomenally with the more moody atmosphere. The vocals become stronger and stronger as the track progresses.
Sadie manages everything on her own. She does what she wants and that results in music in the same league as Kate Bush and Lana Del Rey. Check out Counterfeit below!
