French artist Marianne Perrudin releases her new single, sorrow. It all feels emotional. Supported by beautiful guitar playing and sax, the sound slowly moves towards its destination. The vocals sound honest and have an almost mythical aura.
sorrow is about dealing with grief. While some parts focus on falling deeper, the chorus tries to bring some optimism to the haze. The song also looks at Perrudin’s choice to write in French for more authenticity and emotional impact.
Perrudin had to dig deep into her soul to create sorrow. But it turned out so beautifully. Believe me, you have to listen to this song.
