Mabel Laine is an alternative/indie pop artist from the Midwest. She releases her new single, Hope Outside of Heaven. It’s about what it’s like when someone you once loved abandons you. This can hurt, because you sincerely trusted them. However, you’re now forced to proceed alone.
Hope Outside of Heaven has an 80s feel to it. Revery guitar and electronic drums build an atmosphere that makes you want to get the party going as soon as possible. The saxophone, played by Corey Puett, is neatly incorporated into the arrangement.
