German singer-songwriter Noni A. releases her new single, Corolla. She talks about the strong emotional bond shared with her cherished partner, but admits that living in different time zones pose bittersweet challenges. The mention of being “9 hours ahead” and having their city in the weather app indicates geographical separation and the constant presence of this person in Noni’s thoughts.
Corolla has this laid-back vibe about it. But don’t let it fool you – there’s a really nice, catchy guitar melody underlying it all that gives the song a steady backbone. And the vocals, oh my – the vocals really hooked me.
