London-based singer/songwriter Francesca Morris just released Pretty Sure. She recounts the comfort and security she once felt, only to face the reality that her partner has left. Regardless of the pain, she resolves to move on alone. Morris sings she’ll make it through. That’s at least a positive thought.
When crafting Pretty Sure, Morris took inspiration from Holly Humberstone, MUNA, The Japanese House and Phoebe Go. The outcome is a beguiling indie-pop gem, anchored by soaring vocal melodies and shimmering instrumental beds that ebb and flow with an understated grandeur. Pretty Sure invites you to get lost in its hazy, introspective world.
