Singer/songwriter Ava Valianti releases her new single, Wishing well. It evokes memories of childhood, symbolized by things that are no longer there. As the song goes on, Valianti becomes more and more overwhelmed with nostalgia, expressing sadness over the changes that come with growing up. But regardless of the challenges and disillusionment adulthood presents, Valianti holds onto a belief in magic.
Wishing Well uses a commercially appealing pop song structure and sound, complete with sliding guitar lines that provide a smooth, melodic foundation upon which the singing is placed. Valianti delivers convincing and polished vocals that make the context even more credible.
