Growing up in Jersey City, one place always felt like home to singer-songwriter Libby Jade – the courtyard of her apartment building. It was a gathering spot, a “third place” as they say, where neighbors became friends and strangers became family. Libby’s new single Courtyard accurately captures the warmth she experienced there.
Made in collaboration with producer Gregory Thomas Pease, this energetic and upbeat indie pop track features a guitar-driven production that brings together nostalgic influences with an optimistic tone. It all sounds brilliant, making you feel like you’re floating. Expect the unforeseen!
