British artist Tapwaterlucy is back with a fresh new track called Crush from her upcoming debut EP. While previous single The Final Girl had a darker, more desperate vibe, this one flips the script – it’s cheeky, fierce and crazy catchy. But both songs share Tapwaterlucy’s signature blend of confrontational wit and biting humor.
In Crush, Tapwaterlucy jumps right into her desires, calling out her partner to reignite that fiery passion they used to have. She’s chasing those butterfly feelings she took for granted before, yearning to get that breathless spark back.
Keeping with the EP’s overall horror movie fame theme, the Crush music video takes things to a creepy new level. It follows a pop star’s haunting downward spiral as she loses control over herself and her world. It’s a dramatic, visually striking look at the dark side of fame.
