Singer-songwriter Jojo May releases her new single, Flying Alone. She wrote it during a flight. It’s about learning to be comfortable in your own skin and rolling with life’s punches. And I’ll be honest, sometimes that’s difficult. Motivation can quickly drop when you feel lonely, for example. However, you should always try to stay stick to your faith. It’s true that the more you work on accepting yourself, the better you’ll become at it.
Flying Alone is made up of vibey R&B instrumentation that pushes the sound forward like a wave. I like the experimental layer that overlays it. The vocals have mystical undertones and show off the enchanting traits of Jojo.
