Sun Queen is a Chicago-based indie rock band, made up of the tastiest musicians you’ve ever laid eyes on.
They recently released their new album, which includes Out of Touch. The song tells the story of being empty inside and how asking for help would enable you to feel empowered again. It’s nothing to be ashamed of; we all feel bad sometimes. More often than not, it’s actually a huge relief and liberating experience to talk to someone.
I like the instrumentation here because of its organic character. For example, it has cool guitar riffs and punchy drums. The vocals contrast beautifully with their vulnerable and velvety sound that continues to reverberate within the soundscape,
Sun Queen brings light to your ears. Out of Touch has a lot of meaning and is musically strong. Check it out below!
