Primed to make a mark in 2025, acclaimed Norwegian dream pop artist Yndling releases a new single entitled It’s Almost Like You’re Here. It has cloudy synths layered over shoegaze-style guitar. This compensates for a detail-rich sound. The vocals are dreamy, while remaining confident in their delivery. It’s magical, really.
It’s Almost Like You’re Here talks about being on the edge of a relationship with someone where you feel like things could be really great, but the one you’re dating refuses to take the leap. This is of course a shame, because you fit together perfectly. It therefore brings frustration. You don’t understand why they’re so scared and why they complicate things so much.
Yndling is currently at her best. It’s Almost Like You’re Here has something special you can’t find anywhere else. Start listening below!
