CLOVER is a singer-songwriter living between Brooklyn, NY and Frenchtown. She recently released Used to It. The song tells the incredible love story of her and her partner, which began with an impromptu trip to Mexico and ended in a once-in-a-lifetime journey during the global health crisis. From living in a tent with artists in Upstate New York to hitting the road on a year-long street adventure across twenty states, the couple’s nomadic lifestyle is captured in Used to It.
Musically, Used To It sounds upbeat with soulful instrumentals that echo the energy of acts like Maggie Rogers, and Florence + The Machine. I especially like the last part, where the guitar fully thrives. The vocals are perfect in this context, because they’re vibrant. It reflects exactly how CLOVER and her partner felt, which was probably enthusiasm.
CLOVER simply makes cool music. She always challenges herself to think creatively. Check out Used to It below!
