Magenta Spreen is a collaboration between singer-songwriters Kristen Gradwohl and Talmon Owens. They release their new single, Infinity. While it doesn’t go wild with crazy dynamics or anything, it nonetheless achieves to occupy you. I love how the guitar melodies drive the melody forward, for example. The vocals have a heartfelt quality, and should be admired for their excellence.
Funny fact: Infinity started out as a piano ballad, then evolved into an acoustic arrangement, and eventually became a dream pop rendition. It shows Magenta Spreen thought carefully about how they wanted to present this song.
