Singer-songwriter Avery Dakin makes sultry, sun-kissed Pop/R&B music. She releases her new single, Too Close. It talks about finding that balance between self-confidence and vulnerability in relationships. On one hand, Dakin is owning her power to set boundaries and stand her ground. But at the same time, there’s this tender plea to be truly seen and understood as a human being.
Too Close has sweet production. It’s nice to hear such a fine combination of soulful chords and riffs, and Remi Wolf-like grooves. The vocals sound bubbly, making it easy for them to harmoniously meld on top.
Dakin continues to put forth iconic songs. She’s truly authentic. Check out Too Close below!
