Grace Davies is a 27-year-old singer, songwriter, musician and producer from Blackburn, Lancashire. She releases her new single, Do Or Die. Its idea was born on a crowded tube platform. As Davies hurried to a session, she began speaking into her phone about what she wanted her next song to be about.
Do Or Die explores the point when you know deep down that your relationship has run its course, but lack the courage to end it properly. Instead of making the tough call, you selfishly cling to what remains, even as you search for alternatives behind closed doors. This paradoxical state of mind is something many of us have struggled with at some point, trying to preserve something that’s already dying.
I love the upbeat instrumentals of Do Or Die. Its energy will make you dance like a queen and bring excitement to your soul. The vocals have the right amount of attitude, giving them stardom quality.
