Since growing up in Palm Springs’ low desert, Sara Robbins has loved music passionately. suits is from her new EP, sticky notes. The song mirrors the feeling of being totally caught up in the euphoria of loving someone, even though deep down you know it’s only temporary. The lyrics delightfully strike the bittersweet balance of passion and impermanence.
suits features cool indie folk production. I love how the guitar pushes the melody forward. And the atmospheric textures are well-integrated into the soundscape. The vocals sound sincere while delivering the lyrics, so kudos to them.
