Laura Lucas, a Canadian-born, Australia-based singer-songwriter releases Reincarnation Song. She got inspired by the thought of coming back as an eagle in her next life. So the lyrics are super personal and transparent, giving us a window into how she views reality and what she thinks about it. Its vulnerable, confessional tone really hits home.
Collaborating with acclaimed artist and producer Tom Iansek, who has worked with #1 Dads, Maple Glider, and Lisa Mitchell, Laura recorded Reincarnation Song in London. This partnership has led to in a bold, indie-infused sound that marks an evolution from her previous work. The production blends shadowy, organic sounds with an ethereal, melancholic edge, with a similarity to artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Lizzy McAlpine.
