London-based artist Beks drops her new single, Butter, embracing the current dance-pop trend with electrifying energy. I appreciate its melodic flow and gritty synth bass, which are strengthened by genuine vocals.
Butter was initially written with Kylie Minogue in mind but turned out to be too autobiographical to give away. It celebrates confidence, success, and a charismatic, unfiltered way of living. Lines such as, ”I’m internationally known take the jet down to Ibiza” and ”Cause baby I’m a talent don’t let talent go to waste”, punctuate the song’s bold attitude.
