Having panic attacks isn’t pleasant. It feels like you’re temporarily out of this world and somewhere where all your nightmares come true. LA-based singer-songwriter Haleigh Bowers wrote Trainwreck in 10 minutes while she had a panic attack. During that moment, she was deeply ensnared in anxiety.
I love the song’s arrangement. Calm guitar chords contrast with the vulnerable lyrics Bowers expresses. This works well because it shows that no matter what, she always finds the strength to be creative and make beautiful music. Trainwreck affects you in a certain way that cannot be described.
