When emotions run deep, some of the most powerful songs are born. For Maya Lane, Never Be Enough was exactly that, a cathartic release of pent-up frustration, self-doubt, and the overwhelming feeling of not meeting expectations, no matter how much you give.
Never Be Enough has been written alongside Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Dimitri Tikovoi. While Maya had worked with each of them individually in the past, this marked the first time they joined forces as a creative team. “Before going into the session I’d wondered how the writing process would work with so many people,” Maya shares. “But we all instantly clicked and Never Be Enough came falling out of us.”
Never Be Enough has country and pop influenced instrumentals with a creative quality to them. The vocals sound heartfelt, delivering each line so passionately. The chorus sounds catchy, so prepare to sing your lungs out.
