Songbird is a 22 year old singer/songwriter who grew up loving music. She recently released her new single, Ice Cream Cake. It talks about how friends who who never show up. Like, you’re giving 110% of yourself, but they can’t even give 10% back. It’s as if they don’t value you at all.
Ice Cream Cake has catchy pop production, driven by energetic melodic textures. The vocals are confident, heading forward rather than backward. The chorus sounds brilliant, and there’s an undertone of coolness to it.
